Boat-School.ch is your Swiss partner for nautical training and continuing education (power boat courses, sailing courses and offshore courses) around Lake Zurich.

Whether it's a sailing license (D license), motor boat license (A license) or offshore license (B license), you can get everything from a single source at Boat-School.ch.

I am super happy with this company. I've taken lessons with both Ronny and Andy and they're both excellent at their job: patient, knowledgeable, professional. English level is perfect. Getting my motorboat license with them has been very enjoyable and not at all stressful. Highly recommended.

The instructor, Tycho, was very knowledgeable, patient and fun, he managed to build my confidence and feel for the sailing and the wind direction :) He prepared me very well for the practical exam, which was a success. Many thanks!

What an amazing team!! I chose the Intensive Course (Kat. A) and completed the exam in the first try in, give or take, a months time span. They adjust to your learning capacity and are always surrounded with positive vibes. Would highly recommend!!

Fantastic boating instructor! Knowledgeable with both motorboats and sailing. Instruction is available in English as well.

With sailing, the journey is the reward and you can quickly forget everyday life. You set sail and immediately find yourself in another world.

Explore the most beautiful parts of Lake Zurich and Obersee with a lot of power and cruise over the 42 km long lake, sometimes comfortably, sometimes at high speed. Get to know all facets of motorboating on one of the most beautiful lakes in Switzerland.

Whether wakeboarding with friends, water skiing early in the morning or vacationing on a motor yacht, with us you will learn everything you need for the Motorboot- Driver's license (B license).

Our ports of entry are located around Lake Zurich and Obersee, so that we can start and conduct your lessons at your desired location.

Are you dreaming of limitless freedom and the feeling of navigating a sailing yacht or motor yacht by yourself across the seven seas, or are you planning an offshore sailing trip with friends and want to charter a yacht? For this you need the Swiss offshore sailing licence "Hochsee-Schein" (B-Schein).

Our open sea courses with subsequent exam take throughout the year. As part of the course, you have the opportunity to take a mock exam with a subsequent discussion of the results. After passing the theoretical exam, you then have the opportunity to complete your training as an ocean skipper with our training and mileage trips.

We advise and accompany you in the realization of your nautical dreams and are at your side throughout your off shore education wherever it may lead.

Sailing holidays and training cruises

We regularly organize training cruises in the Caribbean and on the Mediterranean, where you can not only collect the necessary nautical miles, but also receive sound and detailed training from our experienced offshore instructors, which is always adapted to your individual needs.

On our holiday trips we sail the coastal waters in a relaxed atmosphere, sailing from island to island, admire the local sights, get to know other cultures and enjoy culinary delights. Previous knowledge is not required for these trips, but you are of course welcome to lend a hand if you wish and support your skipper with the manoeuvres!

We would be happy to advise you by telephone and by e-mail, or in our shop in Rapperswil. We look forward to welcoming you on one of our cruises.
